DESCRIPTION:HEROES\, Inc.®\, a 501c3\, supports the spouses and children of law enforcement officers and firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty to the greater Washington\, D.C. community. Our singular goal is to honor the supreme sacrifice made by these individuals by caring for their families. This support begins within 24 hours of the tragic loss and continues indefinitely. \nThe HEROES on the Run 5K will take place on the Hains Point 5K course located in Potomac Park\, Washington\, DC. Known for its smooth\, flat terrain\, the course winds along the scenic waterfront\, offering beautiful views of the Potomac River.
