Splash N Dash • August 29, 2021 (Cancelled)

The Splash ‘N Dash is a short course aquathon featuring a 300m swim and a 5K run. The race provides beginners with a fun introduction to multisport and veterans with a great way to test their fitness and racing skills. Athletes and spectators alike will enjoy our venue’s scenic and friendly atmosphere – the Ellen Linson Swimming Pool & Paint Branch Trail in College Park, MD.

Swim: 300m – 12 lengths (6 laps) of a 25-meter pool. Athletes will “snake-swim” – traversing six lanes – to complete the distance.

Transition: A transition area will be provided for athletes to store their race gear.

Run: Scenic 5K run thru the Paint Branch Trail.

Race Day Check-In: 7:15-8:00 am

Race Starts: 8:00 am

Registration Fees:

USAT Members- $30 thru 7/31 and $35 thru 8/27

Non-USAT Members -$45 thru 7/31 and $47 thru 8/27 (includes 1-day USAT License)

Race Day Parking: Parking is available in the pool parking lot.

Cancellation Policy: Capital Sprints does not offer refunds, rollovers, credits, or transfers at any time. All registrations are final.
